Our vision is to teach the world about health by increasing the number and quality of books and resources available to the general public, students, as well as wellness professionals – allowing for greater exposure and understanding of true health and wellness. Mission Since 2008, we have been providing quality ghostwriting, editing, and book publishing services to health professionals around the globe. Our specific mission is to guide health professionals through the delicate process of becoming published authors, provide quality book publishing services, and assist in professional development. We focus on promoting natural healing, health, wellness, and specialize in non-fiction book publishing. Background
International Health Publishing was born from a deep passion for pure self expression. Founder Dr. Pilicy grew up playing soccer in New England. As a quiet young athlete still dreaming of playing professionally, the soccer field served as her stage for expressing her passion for life and adventure. At age 13 that changed when she tore the ligaments in her ankle. Cast-bound and unable to 'play,' she discovered her love for writing and poured her heart and soul into composing prose, and a writer was born!
Following her dad's advice to do what she loves, she became a sports journalist for the local news paper and later a television news editor and producer for CBS-Fox TV News. This wasn't the end of her journey though. Becoming a doctor was her destiny, and IHP was conceived on graduation day, when a license to practice chiropractic was just around the corner.
Early in 2008, IHP launched as a platform to help health professionals teach people how to live healthy and feel great; and to provide tangible resources for learning the true meaning of health. After all, the world is a better place when people are happy and healthy... eh?
